Having endured a headful of burrs last year - which the hairdresser down the street mercifully managed to comb out, this is not my first encounter with "hair emergencies", however, I do not have your staying power. I am trying to sell her on a perky short hairdo for the start of school. Reading of your experience is giving me a much needed opportunity to calm down, take a deep breath and go back to try it again without getting mad at her (I confess I was starting to get very frustrated as she freaks out if ANY water touches her face, never mind gets in her eyes). I'd have told her how stupid it was, definitely.
