Arnold, you’ve been terminated!

Good Job, California Voters!

Arnold for sale in Nashville
Note what Arnold is “selling” in this photo — himself!

I’ve kept quiet about this election because I believe everyone who is of voting age has the obligation to make up their own mind about what they’re voting on without my two cents, or the pundits, or the pontificators. But now that it’s over and the votes are being counted, my faith in “Caw-lee-for-neeans” has been restored. Every single proposition on the ballot is going down in flames…yesssssssssss

I found it offensive when Arnold forced initiatives on the ballot in an effort to do an end-run around democracy, and even more repugnant when language was slipped into those measures that was intended to force issues to the Supreme Court. Good for Californians for getting out and voting and letting Arnold know that we still live in a democracy. The man has no respect for the democratic process, as evidenced by his half-assed “concession” tonight where he said he hadn’t “sold” them well enough.

Bull-oney. Californians just figured out that they didn’t want the crap he was peddling shoved down their throats. Good on them. Let’s keep it up and get him out of office in two years — he never should have won the recall and all I can say is…

Gray Davis, laugh your ass off. :)

  • Or it's hee hee! No, I think it's hear, hear! :) Check out the photo I added -- I was in a mall in Nashville this summer and "cardboard Arnold" was right in the front of the store with that convenient little sign around his neck. Not so hot selling himself OR his propositions. LOL

Only two more years....(clicking my heels and chanting "there's no place like home...")
  • Here, here! (Or is it "hear hear"? I've never quite figured that out)
