An Irish Bridesmaid — Again

by Karoli on January 27, 2006

For the past three weeks I have been trying with all of my might not to envy Dancergirl and T’s trip to Ireland. They’re spending 10 days in that lovely, wonderful country and I’ll be schlepping Sticks and checking Flickr for updated pics.

It’s not anyone’s fault, really. It just works out better for T to take her, because his dad wanted to go back anyway and they know their way around and can drive there — something I would not have the confidence to do. Dancergirl will have a terrific time and they will come back with beautiful Ireland photos (taken on MY camera, I might add….) once again, just like last time.

It’s not anyone’s fault, but I’m feeling myself grow the ‘green monster horns’ anyway. I’m taking Dancergirl to Fresno this weekend for a competition. Wednesday they all go to Ireland. I’m going to have to think of something fun to do while they’re gone.

If anyone has “must do” suggestions for them while in Ireland, post ‘em as comments. T is figuring out the driving itinerary. They’re going to be in the Cork/Killarney area.

Killarney Weather forecast: 15 days out – not much rain forecast!

  • A must thing to do is drink a Guiness poured the propper Irish way.
