Here is a representative sample of the “text” generation, or “communicator 2.0″.
Even Dancergirl is in the act, bugging me on a daily basis for not putting text messaging on her phone (which she has purely for MY convenience). Now that she has a blog she almost has a legitimate excuse to have it. She just finished updating her entries with photos, too. I’m encouraging her to keep it up, just so she can have a chronicle of her milestones this year.
Today was picture day — I uploaded T’s dad’s photos (since he tends to hoard them on his card for YEARS without ever offloading or sharing…) to my Flickr account, and Dancergirl uploaded hers to her Flickr account. She ended up using the camera feature on the Sony Digicam and they’re not so bad for little 1MP photos. Better than the cellphone, grainier than a camera…but when she discovered her camera battery had been left in the charger, she came up with a solution. That’s my girl…resourceful. ![]()
So welcome to our Saturday, with text messaging, blogging and Flickring….yes, we’re “House 2.0″.
