T and I miss Sticks.

We didn’t think we would, but we do.

Both of us looked at each other tonight with sort of sad, hangdog faces and said, “What on earth will we do with ourselves when he goes away to college? And college in Indiana, at that?”

I have no idea, but it’s much, much too quiet without him.

I suggested another pug. He snorted and said one was enough.

I told him he was just pouting because I didn’t laugh at the stupid TV shows he watches, but I did howl like Sticks when he gets all macho with the remote and starts switching to other shows to avoid that dreaded 30 second commercial break.

In reply, he scowled. Only three more days of silence, no drums. Then he and his whirlwind are back.

Laughing at silly shows together
