Happy Easter/Sunday

Happy Easter to you who celebrate, and happy restful Sunday for those who don’t. I’m happy to report that I’ve survived the week and may even survive this morning.

Sticks has returned, tired and triumphant, from their tour of Nevada and Arizona. The bus was late getting in so we ended up running like dogs to get him to a 3PM rehearsal — he arrived at 6:30. They were nice about it, thankfully.

The downside of being part of a family of ministers (my father-in-law and T) is that church on Easter Sunday is not merely about being there. We’re there every Sunday, joyfully! The downside is that on a day like Easter, every family member has a deeper involvement. So tomorrow I’m up at 6 AM, because Dancergirl is dancing as part of our home church Easter Service, T is playing the bass there, and Sticks is out on loan to the big church in town and has to be there at 7.

We expect to collapse in front of T’s parents’ TV at around 2pm after his mom feeds us better than we deserve to be fed.

Oh, and the church website I mentioned last week? I had to apply large bandaids to the existing site because there are host incompatibility issues. SIGH. The good news is that it was deferred and pushed off this week’s plate. The bad news is that it’s still on the to-do list.

As for the dance school, their site is on hold another week until the teacher returns from Ireland. Dancergirl reports the good (no, GREAT) news that our older girls’ team not only placed, but MEDALLED at the World Championships last week. Way to go, Greenway Academy!

I hope you all have a great day, regardless of whether you are celebrating Easter, or just a wonderfully rejuvenating day off!
