Bye, baby heron and insult to injury…

The photos are atrocious because they were taken on the fly at sunset looking INTO the sun…ugh. Nevertheless, I was privileged to finish the Baby Heron series tonight, when he finally took the risk and flapped his way into the sky. Scary, shaky navigation, but in flight, nevertheless. A bittersweet moment in some ways…I truly enjoyed watching his progress.

And, adding insult to the injury of this morning’s coup de etat:

They didn't leave me any

They didn’t leave any for me. :(

Thank you for sharing the growth and flight of the baby Heron with us. When you become a famous photographer, I want an autographed picture!

Thank you Kmilyun! I don’t know that I’ll ever be famous, but I’ll gladly sign one for ya anyway. :)

I will hold you to that! It seems almost anybody can get the mechanics of photography down (except me ha ha) BUT it is rare that someone has an eye for it. Your staged photos such as the marbles show great creativity and your nature shots capture the spirit. I also like your macro shots – it is all the small sometimes not noticed things that make up the big picture.

Keep the pictures coming – especially the ones that show me that my home is not the only one cluttered with the proof that life does exist LOL.
