I'm a jazz bass player myself and as such an avid fan of drummers like Dave Weckl, Horacio Hernandez, Vinnie Colaiuta etc. Took me a while before I felt at home in some odd-time signatures musically speaking. I could only wish I would have had the 'feel' for that stuff on his young age. Sticks really rocks on the tracks in the video. I hope he makes the scholarship. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
