Beware the Scientologist in Sheep’s Clothing

by Karoli on October 9, 2006

Scientologists in Florida are fighting the war on drugs in Florida and the public thinks that’s just fine, even when they offer speakers for anti-drug campaigns in inner-city Christian churches.

Tina Dyer, Concerned parent:
“As long as it’s accurate information, I think it’s fantastic. And I wish more churches would do that.”
Sharon Corely, Concerned grandparent:
“I know they’re very strong against drugs, that’s probably a good thing. As far as their religious aspects, I’ll stay out of that.”

Scientology is also providing anti-drug speakers to an inner-city Christian Churches in Tampa.

Hey Tina and Sharon and churches in Florida, get the facts before offering an endorsement, particularly when it comes to the accuracy of their literature. Do you really want to accept the word of a cult that believes the outlandlish lies of L Ron Hubbard are the only true way to “salvation”?

They say it’s not a recruiting tool, but a means to a more drug-free society.

Baloney.
