Vent away, Emily, and welcome to the blog!

Lynn Terry posted a detailed account of the real story behind the interview. I'm not sure why Mya bothered to interview her at all, frankly, since she wrote fiction anyway.

I just wanted to write in and say that I have had the misfortune of dealing with Mya Frazier in a retail environment. Me: the lowly retail worker; She: the high-minded customer. She is consistently rude, demanding, and apparently unaware of the human convention called courtesy. Every encounter I have had with her has been unpleasant to say the least, and reminds me yet again why I should leave the retail world for good. I find it interesting that someone so keen on critiquing customer service skills has absolutely none herself. Human decency is a two-way street.
Sorry, just needed to vent.
