Twitter — Do we really need a site that lets us post minute-by-minute updates of our activities via cellphone?

Well, here’s my answer: It’s no one’s stupid business what I’m doing, and why the hell would strangers care, much less friends? This is one of those honest-to-goodness well-intentioned time wasters that could completely derail someone like me, who doesn’t need to know what my friends are doing every minute of every day and who knows no one who cares what she’s doing every minute of every day. Bizarre.
