I think that&#039;s true, or at least they&#039;re not Internet-literate.  Sometimes it&#039;s easy to forget that most people aren&#039;t glued to their keyboards the way I am.  Your point is well-taken, though - there are dangers everywhere and we don&#039;t do the kids any favors by sheltering them.  Educating them is a far better tack to take.</description>

		<description>My opinion on this is that the people who are so freaked out about their kids on the Internet aren&#039;t all that computer literate. They are the same people who have resisted getting online in the first place, don&#039;t like computers and pick AOL for their provider. Yeah, there are dangers - but crossing the street is dangerous, too and we teach our children to look both ways before they cross and then we hold their hands until they are mature enough to do it on their own. This is hard to do with the Internet if your kids already understand it better than you do.</description>
