Sometimes I’ll read a bunch of blog posts in one or two days that are really interesting and fun, but don’t really fit in one of the odd time categories here or where they just say it so well there’s not really much to add beyond a cheer. Here’s this week’s batch of “you really need to read these or know this” posts to share:
- Shelley bites the bullet, cleans her D70 and D200 sensors and lives to blog about it.
- 4AlterEgo has some observations on the culture of “HYPHY” and ghostriding. You’ll have to read the post to see just how bizarre this is. Don’t miss the ‘hyphy with a whip’ segment.
- The Gillmor Gang is no more. How will I get my weekly fix of high-brow tech talk now?
- Lee reflects on her name
- The Nintendo Wii spawns a whole new class of game-related injuries. (Sticks wants a Wii — ha!)
Finally, it’s never too late to start believing in Santa, especially when asking for a MacBook or Nikon D200. I’d rather have the Nikon, but the MacBook has a certain allure, too.
I hope you’ll click on a couple of those links and find some interesting and surprising new voices. Be sure to subscribe to them if you aren’t already.
