CNN just broadcast a press conference where they confirmed the discovery of James Kim’s body, after following the trail he left consisting of pieces of an Oregon map, a girl’s skirt, and other articles of clothing. He was obviously trying to leave a trail of clues for rescuers.
Having just come from a train trek through part of that rugged wilderness, it is a miracle that Kati Kim and their children survived what could have been a quadruple-tragedy. Still, my heart was wishing for them to be whole, with their father back, safe and sound.
My heart goes out to his family and all of those searchers that have given their time and hearts to finding him.. What a bittersweet outcome.
