I’m not sure I’m going to stay with this new template — tweaking the sidebar has been painful, but it’s bright and happy-looking and nice to look at for now.
In looking back over the last three months or so, I realized that there’s a transition happening in my life and on the blog with regard to the ADHD — one of the reasons I started this blog in the first place.
Sticks is one semester away from graduating. He’s been accepted to his top college choices (CSUN and UNT) and we’re going to be working on the specific music audition and financial aid applications through the first quarter of 2007.
The thing is, the ADHD is well-controlled right now. He’s doing great. There’s not really all that much for me to write about ADHD. But there’s a TON to write about this HUGE transition from high school to college. A transition that is at least as huge for Bigdog and I as it is for Sticks. And I may come back around to the ADHD theme when I actually know where he’s headed for college and how we’re going to pay for it. But for the forseeable future, ADHD will be a lesser theme than other, more pressing themes, which has already been happening.
I’m looking forward to posting more pictures, video and audio, too. I’m having some fun learning about video, audio and the web and so where warranted or interesting, I’ll be sharing.
The best part of blogging for me has been meeting interesting and nice people, both at Bloghercon and here online. I hope you’ll keep reading, listening, watching, looking and commenting.
