Trainwrecks wrecks, breaks links
Posted by Karoli in Uncategorized January 15th, 2007
It just goes to show ya — being polite can sometimes get you a headache.
The Dooce posts I wrote in October had links to the PDF files in the public record with regard to the Kensington publishers lawsuit that lived on the Trainwrecks.net website.
I could’ve downloaded those PDFs and kept them on my site but didn’t, figuring that the polite thing to do was to link back to the Trainwrecks site. Tonight The Zero Boss reports that Trainwrecks.net is no more, the victim of trolls and hostility. Even the Google caches are gone along with those PDFs.
If anyone else saved them and has a link to a more permanent home, I’ll update my links to point to them. Otherwise those documents are goners. Next time I do that I’ll keep a reserve set just in case.
