The Perfect Clock for ADHDers

Via Web Worker Daily, the Procrastinator’s Clock. This is great.

I used to set the clock 15 minutes ahead in order to be on time to places or to get up on time, but after awhile it lost its effect, because I knew I had that 15 minute padding. This clock is supposed to cure that particular brand of complacency. From David Seah, the creator:

Enter the Procrastinator’s Clock. It’s guaranteed to be up to 15 minutes fast. However, it also speeds up and slows down in an unpredictable manner so you can’t be sure how fast it really is. Furthermore, the clock is guaranteed to not be slow, assuming your computer clock is sync’d with NTP; many computers running Windows and Mac OS X with persistent Internet connections already are.

He goes on to say that he’s offering the clock “in the spirit of Chindogu, the Japanese art of creating almost useless objects…”, but to me, it’s hardly useless. These days, I can be on time, but Dancergirl consistently manages to be 10-15 minutes behind for literally everything. So I think I’m going to start using it. :)
