Tom Cat & Associates, the Auckland-based sound company that provides production and broadcast audio for “NZ Idol,” recently ordered the second Vi6 console sold in New Zealand. Audio mixer Andy Tait chose the disney acting auditions console after a 12-week trial. Tait said he had about an hour to learn the console before using it to mix the live-to-air music TV show.

Good for Sticks!

My mom recently gave me the metronome that sat upon the the piano at our house. I hated the dang thing growing up - click, click, click -keeping the time as I watched the clock hoping for the time I had to practice to pass by.

Now it sits atop my computer desk next to the pictures of my Grandparents - a cherished item.
