It’s a travesty, but still, also one that I’ve warned Sticks about. Our justice system is just screwed up enough to take a kid on his way to some serious sports and academic success who makes the mistake of having consensual oral sex at a New Years’ Party with a 15 year old only to have rape called by someone else not directly involved.

Acquitted of rape, but convicted of child molestation because his partner was 15, he is now in prison serving a 10-year sentence, despite the fact that he was also a teenager. There’s information about an appeal here, but it looks like the only way to right this wrong is going to be for Georgia legislators to step up and fix it by fixing their stupid laws.
