This was tonight’s sunset, caught as I was leaving the office for the day. It’s been too busy for me to put my head together and actually come up with an intelligent blog post, but the news of the day is that UNT offered Sticks’ in-state tuition and a partial scholarship — before he’s even auditioned (that’s this weekend). We’re pretty happy about that, but it remains to be seen where he will land, since the auditions for the music schools serve two purposes — the first is admission to the school and the second is merit scholarships for musicianship. IU starts the notification process on April 1st. I’m not sure when UNT does it, nor CSUN. But being offered in-state tuition is huge, so I’m feeling like his prospects are pretty good.
