		<description>My Honda hybrid is pretty quiet too.  I&#039;ve become a much more cautious driver -- aware that (a) I can &quot;sneak up&quot; on people (b) the acceleration isn&#039;t great.

&lt;i&gt;Is it just me, or is there a growing tendency to ignore the obvious and in-place safeguards in favor of expecting ‘fix-its’ from the corporations?&lt;/i&gt;
