Miscarriage of Justice?

by Karoli on February 15, 2007

As a Californian who had one of those “poor grannies” they ridiculed, giving Enron traders Timothy Belden and Jeffrey Richter probation feels like a travesty.

What the heck kind of justice system do we have that would give these idiots a hand-slap while sending a clueless substitute teacher to prison for errors the network administrator made?

It boggles the mind.

There’s a blog for Julie Amero

and a legal defense fund

The fund has been verified by several sources.

Among other heartbreakers, Ms. Amero was four months pregnant at the time of her arrest. The stress of the arrest contributed to her miscarriage.
