Ever heard of Sally D?

by Karoli on February 27, 2007

If not, you should read this post on Blogher. I thought I had a handle on all the ways kids could get high, but I’ve never, ever heard of this. The scariest part of this is that it’s unregulated and easily available on EBay and various online pharmas.

I was glad to hear that Sticks hasn’t heard of it, either, but you can count on it coming to a school near you soon if it hasn’t already. Read up, be informed.

  • Hi Liz,

Thanks for the heads-up on the link -- evidently they double-posted and I picked up the one they deleted...LOL. So now it's correct and works.

The reason I posted the DOJ report along with the Wikipedia link was to balance what was in the article, but I really was surprised at the number of sites that popped up selling it when I did a search.

I don't think it's big now, but I never would've figured that people would actually manufacture meth with Sudafed either, so I think it might be better safe than sorry, but I'll gladly update with any new info I find!

I have a lot of salvias of various species under cultivation (or under sentence of death, depending on my interest and the weather).

The aeeehhh! factor is ringing my bogus meter. It is very difficult to grow from seed (it doesn't seed much) and

Jeez. I'd bet what is for sale is nothing much, or a whole lot of dried leaves that look plausible, and cut with stuff you should avoid.

I've read the Wikipedia entry and it seems sound
