A Little Drop of Maui

A little drop of Maui

There are lots of photos to come, of surfers surfing in some of the gnarliest wind and waves I’ve seen, more whales, and hopefully some decent underwater photos. But for tonight, my obligatory “reflection in the raindrop” shot.

The Canon served me well on this trip. It was light enough to drop in my purse but powerful enough to shoot macros of flowers, long shots of surfers, wide shots of landscapes, and videos on demand. I used the Nikon, too, but the Canon was my camera of choice for the ‘wandering days’, where we just got in the car and let it take us where it would.

Ok I guess you can get some sleep now that you provided a beautiful shot!

Wow – how did you find that?? I think you must carry around a spray-bottle with your camera!

Thanks, Trey! No spray bottle — it was raining the last day we were there, and when it rains in Maui, the drops are nice and big and stay for a bit. :)
