For as long as I’ve been online I’ve been told that I write like a man. I’ve never been sure what that meant and wasn’t sure that it was intended as a compliment. My business background definitely influences the way I write — I tend to think in outline or bullet format and express myself that way. So now I have affirmation that what “they” say is true: I do communicate like a man…but I’m still not sure what that means or whether it’s good or bad.

 When you communicate, you like to get to the point. You’re not afraid to say what’s on your mind – and leave it at that. Talking about your emotions drains you. You rather keep them to yourself. You prefer solving problems to wallowing in your sorrows. |
