CNN has a piece on Kathy Sierra and Chris Locke today which I cannot seem to link to because of the weird way they set up their video. You can see it by going to either CNN.com or their tech page, where it’s linked about a third of the way down on the right with the title “The dark side of blogs”.
In advance of the interview, they’ve each posted their own statement. I’m glad they’re talking to each other and have come to an accord about the events of the past month. But before we start shouting out about what a victory for free speech this is, remember that at least one voice has been silenced for the not-too-distant future, as she explains in the CNN interview and on her blog.
Some voices continue; others are silenced. How is that free speech?
