It’s a crappy day in the neighborhood…
Dr. Flea shut down his blog. So did Fatdoctor. Fatdoctor was ‘outed’ and shut down in a matter of hours.
Flea I can somewhat understand, given that he was involved in litigation and quite possibly could have put himself at risk by continuing. But Fatdoctor?
It’s a sad day in the blogosphere. I was about to celebrate yet another study proving there is no link between thimerosol and autism and link to Flea’s blog, but those posts are no more. Poof, an award winner one day and gone the next.
This is the real Web 2.0 bubble, popped in an instant by some petty, jealous co-worker or a greedy attorney. (Edit: Some of my best friends are attorneys and I wanted to be one once. Not all attorneys are greedy. I’m just sayin’ maybe there was one behind this particular shutdown…)
