I have spent all morning straightening out what I thought was completely done with regard to Sticks’ college entrance. Since fees are due today, I figured I’d better check on his account and make sure the enrolllment paperwork that he did earlier this month was complete and that he had a zero balance. [...]

Doing a week-long workshop with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band. This is the band he would like to be the drummer for someday. Can’t wait for the concert Friday.

Kind of wild…just before shooting this, several small seals poked their heads out of the water. We must be getting some tropical currents right now, because the water was as warm as it was on Maui, and it’s never been like that here…usually it’s cold, cold, cold!

A couple of weeks ago I made a comment on Robert Scoble’s blog about feeling like Facebook was too juvenile to be taken seriously. Some of the other commenters responded, including Robert, said that it was easy enough to “grow it up” by removing the stupid applications and keeping the more “serious” ones. Maybe.
