Liz, don’t be so quick to put the halo on just yet– the air was smokin’ around here while I was doing it…you don’t even know. Not to mention the 60+ email strand with people to get advice on the best and safest way to get the computer back into working order with fail-safes installed on it.

If I’d had the money, I assure you I’d have been standing at the door of the Apple Store ready to plunk it all down on a new MacBook Pro, especially now that it’ll run Windows in parallel with the MacOS.

There’s way more to write about this little bit of fun, but I’m still pretty pissy about it.

The last time I bought Jumper Girl a computer, I insisted on a Mac. I don’t have the time, energy, or brainspace to be a two-platform IT person.

But you get the Gold Halo ™ of mothering for cleaning up Sticks’ computer….I’d be turning the air blue.
