My cell phone went missing yesterday. It literally vanished into thin air. There are many things I can do without, but my cell phone is not one of them. Without a mobile phone, I’m glued to my seat in the office from 8-5 without moving. No working at home, no nothing.
So I had to burn Sticks’ upgrade that he’s had coming for a Samsung Blackjack. It’s a slick phone but rebuilding my address book sucks.
And just FYI, if you’re using GMail or another form of webmail, do yourself a favor and skip hooking up MS ActiveSync. Like a pig learning to dance, it does nothing but aggravate the owner.
I will also add this: AT&T has some of the suckiest support I’ve ever seen. I haven’t been able to get the MMS messaging to work properly yet, and they’re no help at all.
As cool as this little Blackjack is, (love the full QWERTY keyboard), I really miss snapping my sturdy little Razr shut at the end of a phone call. Plus, I had lots of pug pics that are now gone forever…I wish whoever has it would give it back.
