One week ago — The sun, intermingled with the smoke coming our way from the Zaca Fire.
Yesterday — The fire flared and burned farther toward Ventura, crossing the county line near Ojai. This is the smoke plume, diffusing and spreading over Camarillo.
Today was dark and smoky all day. Everything was tinged in an orange glow. They don’t expect for this fire to be out until mid-September — it’s grinding through areas with a lot of old growth that are inaccessible.
