At least, in some parts of California. Just think, in other parts of the country you can get in trouble for tapping your foot in an airport bathroom stall, but in Northridge, you can get these at taxpayer expense:

    Those things are EVERYWHERE around here. Except for MY street, which NEEDS them. I live two blocks from a middle school — the one the kid WOULD have gone to if she hadn’t gotten into the magnet. And the drivers are almost as crazy careening up my street as they are where she’s going now. Of course, they do have speed bumps and it doesn’t seem to help much (unless it was worse before… a dreadful thought).
