Except for MY street, which NEEDS them. I live two blocks from a middle school -- the one the kid WOULD have gone to if she hadn't gotten into the magnet. And the drivers are almost as crazy careening up my street as they are where she's going now. Of course, they do have speed bumps and it doesn't seem to help much (unless it was worse before... a dreadful thought). Those things are EVERYWHERE around here.
