I hope you all are enjoying the photos — blogging will be light until after the 15th at which time I will definitely be back with lots to say…in the meantime, I’ll give you some of my favorite Venice shots, if that’s okay. This is the “hobbit house”. There’s nothing vintage about it at all; in fact, the architecture appears to be similar to the Conroy’s Florists buildings appearing around California. On the other hand, on a brilliant windswept day at the beach with clear skies and water (and if you ignore the satellite dish), it is at least a little bit reminiscent of what I imagine hobbit houses to be.
