Update: This is smoke from the Santa Rosa Valley Fire. I just drove up to the edge and took some more pics with the Nikon — I’ll post them to Flickr shortly. They’re recommending evacuations.
There’s a fire to the east of us that just whipped up — this is smoke moving across to swallow up everything…it’s really awful. As best as I can tell it’s coming from the direction of moorpark or santa paula
