It’s the thought that counts, I guess

adhd-badgeI’m sorry, but I would never do this, no matter how much I wanted to support the Autism Network.

For starters, it would completely embarrass all of my kids, no matter what their age. And second, it reminds me of those awful bumper stickers about “my child being student of the month”, etc. in reverse.

I’m sure the intentions are good, but still…I just couldn’t do it. I’d much rather just buy some nice thing from them that has nothing whatsoever to do with ADHD. Or a book. Or just about anything else.

Yeah, while my kids feel no shame about it and deal pretty well with it, broadcasting it is weird.

In my opinion–I agree with what was said about Lori Drew being charged with something. I am absolutely disgusted knowing that she goes to sleep at night and get up in the morning and can feel good about herself.
I also agree with her being lower than _____–unfit–there are so many different words and phrases that can be said. We can only hope that she will never ever forget it the rest of her life.
