It’s fortune cookie night for me again. Not quite the bacchanalia of the last time around, but my fortunes look a bit more promising this week, and certainly fell along a theme:
- You are next in line for a promotion.
- Be innovative. Take charge of new ideas.
- A friend’s advice is invaluable.
- You will soon gain something you have always wanted.
I especially liked the last one. My prayer to the fortune cookie gods and gurus is thus: I have always wanted a Nikon D300. I have always wanted a MacBook Air. I say always because since I first laid eyes on it I’ve wanted it. I have always wanted an iPod Touch. I don’t know which one of those you want to grant, but any would be gratefully accepted. I ask for material things because I have serious doubt that you would, for example, end the war in Iraq or something larger that I’ve always wanted. All donations gratefully accepted.
Perhaps one of you would like to post some advice about how to get one of these things that I’ve always wanted? Hmmm?
