This is my aunt and uncle’s house in old Sacramento* where DG and I spent the weekend. The original house was built in the early, early 1900’s and has been restored (and is still being restored). The inside is as beautiful as the outside — hand-crafted windows, arched doorways and ceilings, and as much of its original charm as possible. We were treated to my aunt’s amazing cooking, too — homemade garlic soup, curry, tomatillo salsa, yummmm.
*(don’t kill me, Kmilyun…we weren’t there long enough to do anything but dance and visit a little bit)
