In the past week, eight people have died within a 20-mile radius of my house, all on the freeway. Three within two offramps of my house.

This is unusual. Maybe we have one, or possibly two fatalities in this area per year. Please slow down and ease off the gas pedal.

It’s better to get to your destination late and alive than die trying to be on time.

I’m also sure that at least three of these deaths will be the result of a drunk driver. Don’t drink and drive either.
