Mom was right about Little League

It teaches sportsmanship? Not so much.

Of course, parents set the precedent for this stuff, pundits and politicians reinforce it (there’s all sorts of ways to deliver a sucker punch), so I’m cynically unsurprised when kids do it. Just sad, is all.

    My boys played for years - and yes, the parents are a huge part of the problem. We were lucky and had great coaches who understood the point of little league.. They may not have won the seasons but we were thrilled.

    WOW! I was very involved in Little League with my son for more than 10 years. ANy kids doing this would have been banned for life. And the parents would have been prosecuted. that is just crazy!
