The herons are back, late this year. They moved their nest to the top of the tree, presenting some real photographic challenges. I did get this one, which was dinner time at Heron Hideaway. I think there are two chicks at least, but I haven’t been able to get well-enough focused in there to know for sure.

Cool picture. It's amazing that you get so close to such wonderful animals.
This picture reminds me of my old home in Florida. A family of Kingfisher was making a nest at our attic and it was really nice to see them around.
