OJ Simpson – Karma Bites

It’s just utterly bizarre that OJ Simpson is found guilty on all counts on the 13th anniversary of the not guilty verdict in his murder trial. Completely, and utterly bizarre. Maybe even symmetrical. Numerically weird, and everything else.

I credit the first OJ Simpson trial for my ongoing fascination with online community and social media. The ability to follow, analyze and discuss the issues in that trial were so incredibly interesting that I never turned back. Ultimately, that led me to my time with CNN’s online community and into the place I am now.

I came away from the first criminal trial believing that the verdict was the right verdict based on the evidence presented. Of course, when the Goldmans produced the Magli shoes in the civil trial, I also agreed with that verdict. I have no doubt that the verdict tonight is also correct.

I have a feeling life for OJ is about to become extraordinarily difficult, as it should be. Karma, OJ. Karma.
