This cat always hangs out on a dock in the afternoon waiting to catch the last rays of winter sun. Occasionally it’ll come over and let me give it a head scratch, but today it was perfectly happy to stretch out in the last rays of sun and look at me, when it felt so inclined.
It’s been in the 80’s here, hot, windy and weird. Restless, difficult to ignore the howling wind, but it feels strangely out of place in the middle of January.
I suppose I should be loving it, but after the extreme cold for our area (30’s at night; 50’s during the day, yes, that’s extreme for this neighborhood), I’m ready for some nice rainy 60-degree weather that feels more like January.
