In October, 2010 government meetings discussed the takeover of 401k's and ira's again. Now it was right before the Republican election triumph but it probably won't matter to Obama since he has no respect for the LAW anyway. He in fact just announced a sweeping review of HIS agencies with an eye to eliminating any rule that stands in the way of his plans for redistribution of wealth.The announcement is just in time for the Republican hearings on his socialist agenda and his breaking of the law or his making up law by regulation fiat in stead of regulations defining laws passed by congress. This went in fact the value of these accounts has come roaring back. You only had to hold onto your stocks and add to your holdings when the value of stocks were so low.
