This is the first time I've gone from dreaming to doing like this, and it's just amazing how much support and encouragement I'm getting. I was determined to do it no matter what, and it seems like once I made that commitment, good things just started happening. I “met” Connie from GM and she really got it & sold it to her colleagues. I was excited to see how many people were excited for me. I really feel like I'm traveling with a team now…like there are people traveling with me. I couldn't have predicted the reaction — and it's humbling. I really want to do a great job & earn the support I'm getting.

Just saw the pic of the Camaro, Connie. It's awesome. Having been the beneficiary of GM's loan program, I'm excited to see how Jane likes the vehicles. I loved the hybrid I drove to BlogHer '07. Though it was too big for me to consider owning, I've been anxiously awaiting the release of the Volt…and hoping I'll get to be a tester/blogger when it finally comes out. Right now we're sharing a Prius between my husband and I, but the Volt looks ready-made for me. I was (and am) really impressed by the hybrid technology you all are bringing onto the market. Can't wait.

Nice nod to your brave friend Jane — I've had the pleasure of working with her since late Sept to ensure she is well equipped for a long road trip in a series of GMC and Chevy vehicles. She took off in a GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid, and will switch into a hot new Chevy Camaro tomorrow. I hope more people follow along with Jane's journey, as she is an amazing story teller.
