It's pretty pervasive. The narrative is being shaped by the nays. That needs to change. The simplest answer is that you are hearing the din because you choose to. Twitter and your RSS feeds are all opt-in.

You are hearing these other voices because — in a shining example of your intellectual honesty — you aren't afraid of hearing opposing viewpoints.

The people I worry about are on the fringes, who live in echo chambers and don't think for themselves. There are many things upon which we'll disagree, but both of our views come out of the process stronger, more disciplined, focused and articulate.

Concentrate on that as a takeaway, and the BS gets easier to ignore.
