I will be taking some pics at our friends sons birthday/baptism affair next month and I am gonna use the lens then as it is so versatile in range.

I was thinking about the Olympics and the skating judging controversy conversations we had just the other night

I think Orwell would be horrified. Though he would be thrilled to see us moving towards socialism (he WAS a socialist after all), but Obama uses language exactly as Napoleon the Pig or Big Brother.

The only difference is that instead of Squealer spreading the message that the food “readjustments” were actually increases, he has Biden out front touting “jobs saved and created.”

Great summary. The “duh” part of 'negativity equals attention” cannot be understated. The “if it bleeds, it leads” mentality of the media contributes to the faux-populist *rage* that's so fashionable now. The week could feel like a loss for the interests of the individual in this country, but I prefer to think that we've discovered a foundation, of sorts, and we will use this last week's events as a platform to take action.

Ok lets see.
I actually attended the adaptive PE class and it looks promising.
I have started playing my dulcimers (not so great yet)
I posted two videos of my so so attempts on you tube (shock)
I found my space stamp collection in my grandmothers old trunk.

I took my 18-200mm vr lens to the shop because I have never liked it produced soft pictures and what do you know it had a defective lens in it - got fixed under warrenty.

I is 12:43 am and I am wide awake YIKES
