Ending the Bullying

I’ve been swamped lately…it’s not that I don’t have things to say, it’s just that I’ve been saying them on Crooks and Liars and MOMocrats lately. Nevertheless, I have been deeply concerned about the stories of bullied kids committing suicide. There is no question in my mind that the onslaught of anti-gay talk in this election cycle and in general pushes kids to bully others. But it’s not only LGBT kids. As I’ve written before, ADHD and autistic kids also suffer at the hands of bullies and it’s just plain wrong. I have a lot more to say about this, but for now, just go read Liz Ditz’ post, and join the grassroots effort to end the bullying.

Also, read this. Because Christians have some responsibility in this, for the damage done and now to repair it. It’s important they do it sooner, rather than later.

I’ll be back soon. I promise.

I saw on Twitter that you cleaned up the Sharron Angle audio; are you going to post it here?

Thanks for the link to RD; I’m not an adherent of faith-based beliefs, but I can stand firmly behind this call for humane behavior.
